Tinubu Celebrates Wife Oluremi On 66th Birthday, Calls Her “Truest Friend”

President Bola Tinubu has celebrated his wife, Oluremi, on her 66th birthday, describing her as his “truest friend and confidante” in a tribute posted on his verified X handle on Monday. He praised her patience, courage, compassion and unwavering support through different seasons of their life together, saying she had shared his burdens and provided counsel during difficult moments.

Tinubu said Oluremi had given practical meaning to the biblical description of a virtuous woman, remaining a source of strength and offering him honest counsel even when unwelcome. He also credited her with shaping their children and grandchildren through values of faith and kindness, and highlighted her humanitarian work through the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative, which he said has supported young people, widows, elderly citizens and women farmers, alongside her advocacy for those affected by tuberculosis and other diseases.

Reflecting on their shared journey, Tinubu said their difficult decisions and sacrifices over the years had strengthened their relationship, adding that he would choose the same path if given the chance to relive his life. He wished her many more years in good health and joy.
