Osimhen Plans Return to School, Eyes University Degree After Football

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he hopes to return to school and obtain a university degree after retiring from professional football, saying education remains one of his long-term personal goals.

The Galatasaray forward made the disclosure during an interview with Instablog TV, where he reflected on life beyond football and the importance of learning.

Osimhen said many of the lessons that have shaped him were acquired through life experiences rather than in the classroom.

He noted that a football career is relatively short, making it necessary for players to prepare for life after hanging up their boots.

According to the 27-year-old, pursuing a university degree after retirement would be a significant personal achievement, even though he already has other opportunities to rely on.

He said earning a degree would also allow him to inspire younger people and demonstrate that education remains valuable regardless of one’s career success.

Osimhen encouraged young people who had to suspend their education because of financial or personal challenges not to give up on their academic ambitions.

He stressed that it is never too late to return to school, urging them to see education as a lifelong opportunity rather than something limited by age or circumstance.
