NITDA: President Tinubu’s Vision Accelerating Nigeria’s Digital Economy

The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is accelerating Nigeria’s transition towards a technology-driven and innovation-led economy.

In a statement shared by NITDA on Thursday, Abdullahi said the administration is prioritising digitalisation, human capital development and an enabling environment for Nigerians to develop innovative solutions.

He stressed that greater investment in technology and digital transformation would strengthen Nigerians’ participation in the global digital economy, particularly by equipping young people with relevant digital skills and capabilities.

Abdullahi spoke ahead of GITEX Nigeria, as the country continues efforts to strengthen its technology and innovation ecosystem. He maintained that developing digital talent and human capital is essential to driving innovation and shaping Nigeria’s economic future.
