Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, redeploying Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
Alhaja Sanni takes over from Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment.

Governor Makinde thanked Mrs. Balogun for her contributions to the development of Oyo State and wished her success in her future endeavours.
Mrs. Sanni previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023 before she was moved to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023. She was later redeployed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
Earlier on Tuesday, the governor forwarded the name of the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Dr. Olabode Taiwo Ladipo, to the Oyo State House of Assembly for confirmation as a commissioner.
Governor Makinde also approved the appointment of Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande as Chairman of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, Honourable Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs, and Hon. Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as a Part-Time Member of the Local Government Service Commission.
According to a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, the appointments took effect from July 1, 2026.
The governor congratulated the newly appointed officials and charged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, loyalty and commitment.
