President Bola Tinubu has said Nigeria is beginning to regain economic stability and attract more investment opportunities following the reforms introduced by his administration over the past three years.
The President made this known in his 2026 Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world, contained in a statement released by the State House on Tuesday.
Tinubu acknowledged that the country had faced difficult economic realities but maintained that the tough decisions taken by his administration were necessary to reposition the economy for long-term growth and national development.
According to him, the ongoing reforms are already producing encouraging results capable of boosting investment, creating jobs, and strengthening the nation’s economy.

“As a nation, we are on a journey of reconstruction and renewal. The reforms we have undertaken are challenging but necessary to build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria for future generations,” the President stated.
He added that the sacrifices made by Nigerians and the government were beginning to pay off, stressing that the country was gradually becoming more attractive to investors.
“The walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here,” Tinubu said.
The President described Eid-el-Kabir as a period that reflects sacrifice, faith, compassion, and obedience, urging Nigerians to promote unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence regardless of ethnic or religious differences.
Tinubu also expressed optimism that the administration’s reforms would continue to improve security and create more opportunities for citizens across the country.
While addressing ongoing security challenges, including attacks by terrorists and bandits, the President assured affected communities that the Federal Government remained committed to defeating criminal groups and restoring peace nationwide.
He noted that security agencies were intensifying operations against criminal elements, including terrorist groups operating in different parts of the country.
The President further called on Muslim faithful to pray for national peace, stability, and wisdom for leaders, while encouraging citizens to support vulnerable members of society during the festive season.
Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investments in key sectors such as security, infrastructure, agriculture, and human capital development as part of efforts to build a more prosperous Nigeria.
