NYSC Fixes July 9 for Passing-Out of 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members across the country.

In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme disclosed that activities leading to the exercise began on June 23 and include job advisory and counselling sessions, registration and clearance by Local Government Inspectors, as well as final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.

NYSC noted that the low-key passing-out exercise will culminate in the issuance of Certificates of National Service to corps members who have successfully fulfilled all requirements of the national service programme.

The Director-General of the scheme, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and encouraged them to uphold the values of the NYSC while contributing positively to national development after service.
