The White House has launched a website featuring arcade-style games promoting President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, including migrant deportation and border wall construction.
The games, unveiled on Thursday, include “Rio Run,” where players chase migrants near the US-Mexico border, and “Build the Wall,” a Tetris-style game focused on protecting the border.
The website also features a game promoting Trump Accounts, investment accounts with a $1,000 government contribution for eligible children born between 2025 and 2028.
Rights groups criticised the games, accusing the administration of dehumanising migrants and making light of serious issues surrounding immigration and detention.
The White House defended the initiative, saying it was designed to communicate the administration’s achievements in a way that resonates with Americans.
The launch comes as the Trump administration intensifies its efforts to arrest and deport undocumented migrants, following his campaign promise to remove millions from the United States.
