INEC Declares APC’s Biodun Oyebanji Winner of 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election.

Oyebanji secured victory across all 16 Local Government Areas announced, defeating his closest rivals from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to the results collated by INEC, APC polled 338,224 votes. The PDP came second with 40,043 votes, while the ADC recorded 12,872 votes.
