Regina Daniels Says She’s No Longer Interested in Marriage, Wants More Children

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she is no longer interested in getting married following her separation from her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.

Despite her stance on marriage, the actress said she still hopes to have more children, especially a daughter.

Speaking during a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, Daniels disclosed that she plans to have six children and currently has two sons.

According to her, she strongly desires a daughter because she believes girls tend to remain emotionally connected to their parents even after marriage.

“I want to have six children and I already have two boys. It sounds crazy, but somehow I’ve completely taken my mind off marriage. But I’m definitely going to have a girl; I must have a girl,” she said.

She further explained that while men often become more focused on their own families after marriage, daughters usually maintain closer ties with their parents.

“Men grow up, get married, and concentrate on building their own families. But women always remember home,” Daniels added.

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that generated widespread public reactions because of their significant age difference. Daniels was 19 years old at the time, while Nwoko was considerably older.

Their marriage reportedly faced a major crisis in late 2025 after Nwoko allegedly accused the actress of battling drug and alcohol addiction and needing rehabilitation.

Daniels, however, strongly denied the allegations, accusing the senator of manipulation, emotional abuse, and psychological control.

Following the controversy, the actress reportedly left the marriage and moved into her own residence. Since then, she has consistently maintained that she is single.
