President Bola Tinubu has named Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as the State Coordinator of his presidential campaign council ahead of the 2027 general election.
The appointment was contained in the revised All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council list released on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Adeleke, who belongs to the Accord Party, is among several political figures included in the council.
Following the announcement, the Imole Campaign Council, led by its Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, pledged to mobilise 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in Osun State. The council said Accord Party structures in the state would work towards achieving the target.
The development places Adeleke at the centre of Tinubu’s presidential campaign activities in Osun, despite his membership of a different political party. The campaign council expressed confidence in its ability to deliver the promised votes in the 2027 election.
